Hello! I’m Dr Zakaria

I am currently a GPST3 and have successfully passed my SCA exam in Nov 24.

I have been sharing my own preparation and learning along the way, and hopefully will hear from you all with your great insight and viewpoints.

  • I hold a great passion for peer led teaching, and am a firm believer in it being a way to both uplift the tutor and tutee. 

    During medical school I was in the midst of a culture of giving back, supporting younger years and peers, as our seniors supported us. As I approached the SCA exam, I have tried to ignite this principle once again, and shared my journey through the SCA whilst supporting and learning from others too. 

  • So often there are great resources that exist hidden away in the depths of a WhatsApp group or email newsletter, only to be found by a few who stumble upon it. Similarly we all hold a great wealth of experience and lessons within us, where collaboration can allow for us to grow and thrive together. Passing exams and completing training to CCT is only the beginning ! 

    I plan to share my own learning, whilst also allowing for you all to contribute and collaborate !

  • We believe everyone can be a learner and gain pearls of knowledge, but also be an educator, sharing their own valuable insights with others.

    So we think you can be BOTH, and through collaboration we can bring out the best from each other to succeed.
